Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain tyres

 I’ve used TOYO Open Country M/T tyres for two years running in the Australasian Safari. The event is one of the toughest cross country rally events in the world spanning over 5000km per event.

 We have used TOYO tyres with great success and had no problems at all with the tyres in the recent 2009 event. Many teams used up to 20 tyres to complete the event and yet our rear tyres completed two complete safaris in 2008 and 2009 before we changed them.

 The sidewall strength in the Open Country M/T is the secret to our success in Western Australia’s harsh outback.

 I’m also using the Open Country M/T’s on my 4WD support vehicle. This vehicle has travelled over 40,000kms including many kilometres on washed out rocky dirt roads. The tyres have held up well and can do another 40,000km easily. They are also relatively quiet for a mud pattern tyre on the road as well which is a real bonus.
