Targa West Tarmac Rally 2008

In this year's Targa West Tarmac Rally, there were 87 vehicles competing, which was the biggest Targa West event to in the past four years. Since the event started in 2005, this event has grown to become one of the major tarmac rallies in Australia.

 Competitors go through the countryside of Kalamunda, Chittering and Toodyay Shires in Western Australia.

 Andrew Van Kann which competed in the Targa West Tarmac Rally was driving a Toyota Levin, using Toyo Proxes R888 195/55R15 "GGG" compound* tyres. After the completion of this challenging event, the tyres still had plenty of tread remaining. The tyres were supplied by Bayswater Tyres, Perth (Phone 08 93719988).

 Andy finished with the fastest time in his class at 2:08:03.0 which positioned him in first place in the "Challenge Classic" class.
