Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited and PAC Performance Technical partnership.

 Sydney Australia - December 2007

Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited is pleased to announce the establishment of a technical relationship with PAC Performance. 

 PAC performance, the market leader in sport compact racing and car preparation will be providing technical support to Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited, as they introduce the Toyo Tires drag slick into the Australian market.

 Toyo Tires drag slick has already had great success in the USA market with the following performances in 2006

• Toyo Proxes Drag Slicks Finished 1st and 2nd in 2006 SCEDA Championship.
• 2006 Super Gas Championship at Bandimere Speedway was won on Toyo Proxes Drag Slicks.
• 2006 Purifoy Chevrolet Fast 16 SuperComp Race was Won on Toyo Proxes Drag Slicks.

 In conjunction with Toyo Tyre & Rubber Australia Limited being the naming rights sponsor for the 2008 sports compact series.  Toyo’s plan will be to introduce the drag slick during this series. 

Testing will be carried out shortly, with the PAC performance team and once dates are confirmed another press release will be issued.
