Faber 1-Day Classic 2008

The Faber 1-Day Classic took place on November 2nd. The event was packed with various motor sport challenges. 60 cars took part in the 17 competitive stages in Perth, from Midvale to Kwinana. The stages included sprinting, drag racing, autokhanas and superkhanas.

Andy Van Kann took part of this event and finished up 1st place in his class (All up to 1985 up to 2-litres).

. This is Andy’s second class win in a row. Andy was driving a 1974 Toyota Levin, using the Toyo Proxes R888 195/55R15 “GGG” compound tyres. Andy was also positioned 1st place in the “challenge classic” class.

Simon Gunson in the 1994 Nissan Silvia S13 which was also using the Proxes R888 tyres also competed in the Faber 1-Day Classic and finished up in 1st place in his class (1986-2008 over 2-litres).
