THE 3 CAR TEAM
The second
year of Toyo Tires 24h car race of
Dubai
is back again. It is a competitive international race with over 80
participants from all around the world, including Australia.
This year the
all Australian three car team will be competing in the Mitsubishi Mirage Cup
Cars, built by the Australian Production Car Champion Mal Rose
(right).
Rose will be
joined by Adam Wallis from
South Australia,
and Sydney’s Kevin Burton. In the 3 car team will be Peter Leemhuis, Tony
Alford, Richard Gartner, Ray & Paul Stubber with Ron Moller.

support has been boosted by TOYO Tires Europe making a Slick 15” tyre to
improve the cars overall performance.....It
is pleasing that a company like Toyo can use the Australians to test a
product in a 24hr endurance event”
The teams are
fitted with Toyo’s PROXES RS1 slick tyre, competing for class and overall
wins.
Team Mirage Australia plan to enter the
Nurburgring 24 hour race in 2006.
